I know this is way the heck in advance but the summer camp my son goes to wants to know *already* which two-week session he'll be in...!

Wondering if there's anybody floating around out there in Wisconsin? I'm in the boonies, but I'm probably heading to Madison in the next couple of weeks, and a lot of writerly types are there anyway. Mayhap we can meet up!

So, my sister studied abroad last year, and some of the friends she made live in Vancouver. She and her East Coast friends are planning a trip--spending part of the time in Seattle, and part of the time in Vancouver. She asked if I might like to come along, and I said well, I have online friends who live in Vancouver!

The plan is to leave the 19th of May, I believe. I'm not sure when we would be coming back, and dates for Seattle vs Vancouver are still up in the air.

As I mentioned a month or so ago, I'm in Portland for the next week (with a brief trip up to the Seattle area on Monday).

Would the Portland folks be available for a meetup sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday?

I was thinking the Cafe in Powell's would be an appropriate place.

So I arranged a small meet-up for MeiLin's readers in the northeast last summer at the Sterling Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY (no, it isn't near NYC). I'd thought about repeating that meetup this upcoming summer, and I was wondering if any of y'all would like to join us?

The renfest runs every weekend for about seven weeks in the summer, so we have a choice of dates.
