Dreamers Of Dreams: An anthology of Web Fiction

Hey everyone,

Dreamers of Dreams, Vol I , has gone live! It is a collection of opening chapters and excerpts of current webfiction, designed mostly to introduce people in different markets (namely the ebook market) to the concept of web serials, and stories they might enjoy! Its been a wild ride, and I have to thank the authors involved, most of them also involved here, for their help in getting it up and running!

FriedFiction wants serialized stories

I thought I'd pass this along. There was an ad in this month's Poets & Writer's magazine asking for submissions of serialized fiction. I'm not sure if it's of interest to anyone -- the site looks a little new, but they do have about 17 serials running as of this writing, with a good mix of genres. It doesn't look like they require any regular posting schedule -- some of the serials have chapter counts in the double digits, others only have one or two at the moment.

Their submission guidelines also mention payment -- $25 for the first episode, but no pay for subsequent episodes.

I Want To Promote Your Site In The Sexiest Way Possible

Okay, here's the thing. I wrote this, two days ago, for A.M. Harte: Susurration and Earthquake. That's a damn sexy poem, ain't it? It's also an acrostic. What's an acrostic?

It's a poetic form where the first letters of every line form a word. In this case, it spells out amharte.wordpress.com. Instant link pimpage.

Bootleg Audio Books

I'm not sure if this is in the write forum, but I'm curious if anyone here offers 'audio books'. I ask because I was lurking at another serial, and there were links that led to youtube, with a few chapters being read by the author. Has anyone here tried that route? Do you think it might help further draw attention to your own works?

A Possible Project for Anyone that's interested

This seems like a cool idea. Someone gets a moleskin journal and we all possibly write a continuous story or perhaps our own little story or whatever based on the theme we get. We mail it out with our links to our respective stories/blogs and we get a web-fiction/dead paper story that is on display in the Brooklyn Art Library. Just a thought.

AntholoZine Article Submissions

This is not where you submit your published WebLit samples to AntholoZine - that thread would be here.

AntholoZine Articles - Ideas and Questions

We're gonna need these ready soon, editing and layout's gonna have to get done before mid-December and November is NaNoWriMo! Anybody got any ideas for these? I'm considering writing an article about Visual Novels to help introduce both readers and writers to that neat little world of reading and writing.

I'll just go ahead and make a submissions thread for these.

AntholoZine Submission Questions

This is not where you submit to AntholoZine. This is where you ask questions about AntholoZine submissions without glutting up the submissions thread with things that aren't submissions. If it's not a question, and it's not about AntholoZine submissions, it doesn't belong in this thread.
