Write *me* something... please?

I thought I'd take a leaf out of @GabrielGadfly 's book and post a topic here about my call for guest authors.

As explained on my blog, I'm going to take a hiatus in March because I'm feeling close to burn out (and when better to take a hiatus then right after finishing a book?) That's where you come in - and get a chance to showcase your writing to a new set of readers.

If you're familiar with the universe hopping story that's been travelling around, you'll know that cross-universe stories are a great way to introduce new characters to readers of another story.

The deal is this: write an Above Ground/your story cross-universe piece (of 500+ words), where the main theme of the story has to be a word that begins with the letter 'm'.

Example: Rae from Above Ground and Shiva from Addergoole argue about the benefits of marriage and decide to kill or enslave all males.

I realize this assumes you're familiar with my universe, but if you're not you can plague me with questions or just butcher a character - it'd be funny, and I'm not precious about them.

Why submit?

• New readers - 'nuff said.
• Links to your sites helps in search engines.
• All stories posted will be prominently displayed on a dedicated page, meaning that your work will remain visible (it won't get lost in the backlog of posts.)
• You help me out.

You are free to also post it on your own site if you so desire; I only ask that I get to host it first.
