Introduction: Shadow's Light

Hello to all, I am obviously new, and I only joined a few minutes ago. I suppose this is where I am supposed to discuss who I am and what I'm here for. But I'm sure you know the reason to the latter.

I am a fantasy writer who occasionally dabs into horror/mystery. Since my early teens I've been writing pretty regularly, and currently I am just now a junior in college, so it's been a while. Over the years I've mostly finished short stories, although not many. At one time I was writing four or five long stories, but I was too young to realize the detail and thought I needed to put into them, so right now, I've mainly been focusing on one. Which brings me to why I'm here today.

My current project over the past 5 years has been working on my dark fantasy story Shadow's Light. Over the years, I've tried my best to gain the attention of web-users, but it is hard to make an impact in the World Wide Web. I have been fortunate to find a few (like two/three) who have enjoyed reading it, and are sure to let me know their honest opinions of it. Now, back to what I really want to say.

I want to be able to show even a handful of people what I have done with this story, and the characters within it. My goal is not to become popular and famous, I just want to share this work, and let readers know who these characters are. I would also love to get constructive criticism as well. I want to grow and develop my skill as best as I can, and I can only go so far without outside help. So, if you're interested then, please give my website a look, but keep in mind, I am all for constructive criticism, but this story started back in 2005, so there are going to be some mistakes.

Descendants of the creator of Evil have been cursed with the fate of the Dark Crystal, while the one who opposes its power, carries the Light Crystal. But together, the precious stones create a power that could annihilate the entire universe. So when the host of the Dark Crystal is thrust into the position to choose to fight along side the Light Crystal or join the new unknown enemy in destroying life, which will she choose?
