Introduction: Cecilia Tan (Daron's Guitar Chronicles)
Hello, hi, hola, and so on. I just found this site in my gradual trek up the learning curve of online publishing.
I launched a serialized novel in November called Daron's Guitar Chronicles, and I'm also writing a weekly serial over at the Circlet Press site.
I actually blogged about what I've been doing with DGC to try to get it off the ground earlier today, here: http://blog.ceciliatan.com/?p=100 -- in a nutshell, I've put up a "donate" box, and applied to be a Project Wonderful publisher (I use them for some of my other sites and love them so far), but I'm not really expecting to make a mint. First priority for me is to build some readership for the site.
About me, I've been a professional writer for (mumble mumble) years, with a fair number of "traditional print" books to my credit, but traditional print is slow, often pays poorly, etc... I find myself reading more and more online, why shouldn't I be publishing there, too?
Anyway, here and happy to exchange ideas.
Hi Cecelia! Your name is really familiar. Welcome to the site!
Always good to see some new faces.
Welcome to the site.
Welcome, Cecilia! I totally have one of your books (well, ebooks--A Wisp of Steam, which I'm sorry to admit I haven't started reading yet). Pretty exciting to have another traditionally published author getting into weblit.
Also, long hair! I looked you up on Amazon (to see why your name was familiar) and the picture there shows that you have long hair, and since your hair appears to be up in your avatar here, I'm guessing it's still long. My hair is currently about halfway down my butt and growing. Yay long hair
Welcome, Cecilia. I'm a former dead-tree author (and current dead-tree journalist) trying to make it in the weblit world also.
Hello Cecilia *waves*
Hi Cecilia!
Hi Cecilia.

Hi Cecilia! I'm intrigued by your serial. As someone who used to write about musicians in the 1980s (one of whom was closeted, at least professionally), this is right up my alley! I look forward to digging in and reading when I have more time off this week.
Welcome!
