Header Versions
I lean towards the first because the second looks a bit busy. I'm not really sure where to look. To me, the first just looks cleaner. That said, I think you'd be right with either.
Also, I can't see all of either of them because they're hidden under the ads on the right. Maybe link to the pictures instead?
Thanks for pointing that out. I'll add links.
Thanks for your guy's input!
Actually, now that I see them fully, I agree with EllipsisB. It's harder to find all the words in the second one.
My problem with both is it doesn't give me a hint as to what Guts and Sass is about.
It seems people are attracted to the boldness of the second, and the cleanness of the first.
Definitely something to keep in mind. My original idea with the rotating headers (a different one for each chapter) was to provide mood/setting more than overall description. I find it difficult to encapsulate the story into a single description, other than 'There's a lot of stereotypes. Not stereotypically done' (or so I intend. Time will tell). I have a concept for a cover image that I'm going to someday find an appropriate artist for, but it occurs later in the story.
the second one, with an anti epic made two points larger, and dropped its own height further down, or the first with the updates info over on the left as it is with the second.
Of course, im with claire on loving rocks in the water. The commissioned cover i have for Phoenix 2125 has rocks in the water as well.
Thanks for such specific pointers, Alexander! I think I'm going to go with the first one, and try moving the update info.

I like the second one. But I have a thing for rocks in water.
Also, I can't see all of either of them because they're hidden under the ads on the right. Maybe link to the pictures instead?
Stories last longer: but only by becoming only stories.
